THE ABILITY OF THE SPIRIT
The bible tells us that we are workers together with God
(see 2 Corinthians 6:1, 1 Corinthians 3:9). We as Christians need to remind
ourselves constantly of who we are in Christ. You have to remind yourself, “I
am not alone in this world; God is with me.” The Lord Jesus said - “I am the
vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:5) You
would do yourself a great deal of good in meditating on the word of God more
so that its overpowering effect can help you reprogram yourself in to what it
says about you. Take advantage of the transforming power in the word of God.
In Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian church (Eph 3:16), he
was talking about dunamis, the flow of divine energy, God’s ability
strengthening you on the inside by the Holy Ghost. This is so that you would
not be a weakling; so that when you wake up to pray, you can pray. When you
decide to win souls, you can talk. When you get up and say you will do
something, you can do it because there is ability in you by the Holy Ghost.
You may look weak on the outside but you are a giant within. Nothing can take
you down because “…in all these things we are more than conquerors….” (see
Romans 8:37).
Consistently say to yourself “I can do all things through
Christ (the anointing) which strengthens me” (see Philippians 4:13) because
that ability resides in you.
I’d also like to encourage you to get more of our
