Success on prayer
INTRODUCTION
People get a lot of encouragement to pray, but a lot of times they don’t know how to. Its one thing to tell someone to pray and to pray hard, but it’s another thing to let them know how to pray in such a way they can have the desired results and make the necessary impact. Jesus  teach  us dynamic principles of effective prayer, but also ignites a passion for prayer within you. The principles are simple, the results guaranteed – a life full of joy and peace as you receive answers to your prayers…always.
The Right Perspective on Prayer
How do u know when you are filled with Holy Spirit?
A lot of people wonder why their prayers are not being answered and things aren’t working right for them. Well, that’s why prayer is such an important subject and we must know the right way to do it.

The first thought that must be established in your mind in order for you to be able to pray effectively is this: God wants to hear and answer your prayers. If He had planned it any other way, He would never have required you to pray. That’s why He said,
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Consider the Lord Jesus: He always received answers to His prayers. He never once prayed in vain. When we pray we should not expect to have any less than He. That’s because He’s given us the authority to use His Name. When we speak in His Name, it’s as authoritative and effective as Jesus Himself speaking to the Father.
Sadly though, too many Christians don’t know this because they don’t spend enough time to study the Word. So they don’t enjoy a personal relationship with God.
We need to know God as our Father and our Friend; One who’s not far away and can be trusted. If God is a stranger to you, then you can’t trust Him; that’s the reason for doubt. But when you know Him, you’ll have faith in Him, and when you have faith in Him, you’ll trust Him .

ü   Hebrews 10:36-38
ü  John 14:1-28

Speaking in tongues is one of the signs that you have received the Holy Spirit; though it’s not the only sign, yet, it’s a very important one. On the very first day the Holy Spirit came down to begin His ministry in the earth, the Bible says, “…And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1-4).

The very first outward sign demonstrated by the apostle having received the Holy Ghost was speaking in other tongues. The same thing happened with Paul and the brethren he met in Ephesus.

Folks who don’t speak in tongues will have a hard time living the supernatural Christian life for they are short-circuiting the ability of the Spirit in their lives without knowing it. Speaking in tongues is not a contrivance of gibberish or mumbo jumbo as some folks think. It’s the spiritual language of the believer.
